This project is a total design overall of the original founding design of the game. It takes into account a new deign concept derived from the nature of the game and injecting a contemporary look to revitalise the game.

The black and white aesthetic of the game is a reflection of how the game is supposed to be played, where by obvious clues and expressions cannot be used when describing the word. As such, the black and white look strips away any existing or prior intuitions of what the word is, just presenting itself as it is.

In other words, visually representing a poker faced participant.

Taboo is a wordguessing, and party game published by Parker Brothers in 1989 (subsequently purchased by Hasbro). The objective of the game is for a player to have their partners guess the word on the player's card without using the word itself or five additional words listed on the card.

The game is similar to Catch Phrase, also from Hasbro, in which a player tries to get his or her teammates to guess words using verbal clues.
